Who makes your solution?Our solution is manufactered by us, in our own production facility. We purchase raw materials and manufacture it from our own original formula.
How long has React been around?We started in 2002 as a small family business. We still operate as a family business to this day.
What PSI should it be airbrushed at?12-15 psi, depending on your airbrush type and your technique.
Can your solution be used in HVLP systems?Absolutely. Our solutions perform very well with standard 2 and 3-stage turbine/gun units, with less residue buildup and greater resistance to thermal breakdown from the high heat environment.
Can your solution be used in LVLP systems?Yes, our solution performs well in LVLP's, too.
How much DHA is in your solutions?There is 10% DHA in the standard Dark Formula and 8% DHA in the Light Formula. Plus, we offer an Ultra Dark Formula for DHA resistant skin types. The Ultra Dark contains 12% DHA.
Why don't you offer any solutions below 8% DHA?People tell us that the color of the current product they are using is too light. That's why they switch to React. Our range of % solutions give very good color to most skin types, without any off colors. We never skimp on DHA to save money.
Is your solution aloe based, or alcohol based?Neither. Alcohol acts as a very good penetrating agent, however, it tends to have a drying effect on the skin. Aloe tends to over-thicken and extend the drying time. Instead, our formulations utilize other FDA approved agents.
Does your solution contain erythrulose?No. Erythrulose is the 'snake oil' of our industry. We challenge anyone to prove it has ANY substantive advantage over DHA. Show us a (real) independent study that confirms the marketing hype behind erythrulose and we'll buy you a gallon of it. Anyone?
Does your solution have a scent?Yes, our solution has a very light coconut scent. It appeals to both men and women.
Will your solution dry my skin?We've worked very hard to formulate an oil-free solution that counteracts the drying effect of DHA on the skin. We hope to make 'lizard-skin' a thing of the past.
What is the real difference between the React Dark (10%) solution and the React UltraDark (12%)?There is 20% more DHA in the UltraDark. Otherwise, the formula is exactly the same. Depending on the amount of solution applied, you can achieve between a 1/4 of a shade to 3 shades darker using the 12%. However, the 12% may be too dark for some.
Can I use DHA+ Extra Dark Tanning Booster Drops with other brands of tanning solution?Yes. DHA+ Extra Dark Tanning Booster Drops can increase the darkness of most tanning solutions.
How many drops of DHA+ Extra Dark Tanning Booster should I use?How dark do you want to be? In a 1 oz bottle of solution, 4-5 drops (dropper filled to the white line) increase the overall DHA concentration by 1%. We recommend not exceeding 12% DHA total.
How much solution will one bottle of DHA+ Extra Dark Tanning Booster Drops treat?We recommend using no more than one bottle of drops per half-gallon of solution.
How do I use ABT/Secret Pre-Tan Skin Prep?1) Apply ABT/Secret to skin liberally by spray, or sponge. 2) Wipe dry with a clean cloth. 3) For best results, apply sunless tanning agent within 30 minutes of application.
How does ABT/Secret Pre-Tan Skin Prep work?It prepares the skin for an optimum sunless tan by doing two things. First, it helps adjust the skins natural PH level to a range where DHA is most effective. Second, it acts as a mild surfactant, helping your solution to penetrate evenly on the skin.
Can I use ABT/Secret with other brands of tanning solution?Yes. ABT/Secret can help improve the results of most DHA/erythrulose based self-tanners.
Do you provide free samples?Unfortunately, no. However, we do offer a 4oz trial sizes for sale on the products page.
Do you test on animals, or use animal based ingredients in your products?We do not test our products on animals. None of our products utilize any ingredients extracted from animals.
